Due to unforeseen circumstances, William Temple House North Portland and the Oregon Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit (MHSU) must cancel the free health screening event at William Temple House North Portland originally scheduled to take place Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 11am-4pm. Do not despair! William Temple House Northwest will still be conducting their scheduled free health screening on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 from 11am-4pm. Qualified MHSU volunteers will test community members for visual acuity, hearing, blood pressure, diabetes and glaucoma. (Diabetes testing requires a three hour fast prior to the test.) Volunteers will reference those in need of additional assistance to a partner organization.
