Sentinel worshiper reader jgarner alerted us to the closure of the Kentucky Fried Chicken at North Lombard and Ida streets, and noted that it's the second KFC in a year to shut down in NoPo. jgarner writes:

A little over a week ago the Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet on N. Lombard  
(near St. John's across from Fred Myer's) closed.  Earlier this year Kentucky  
Fried closed another outlet near N. Interstate.  I'm curious as to why they  
closed and whether or not N. Portland will get another outlet.  I love  
Kentucky Fried Chicken.  Your paper's not half bad either.
